10 Easy Ideas For Your Halloween Theme Party

1. A Halloween theme party can mean many things to different people, so you have to narrow it down into a sub-theme to be more specific.

2. A very early decision you need to make is exactly what sub-theme you are going to be taking. Is your party going to be about historical figures, movie stars or the more traditional monsters, demons and witches.

3. Cut your invitations out from card and make pumpkins or a witches hat from it. Be creative! State clearly that anybody who isn’t dressed up when they arrive will be charged admission on the door.

4. For costumes, I will assume you have gone for a traditional monsters theme. There are dozens of costumes and Im sure you’ve seen the many possibilities when out shopping. Some good ones are; zombies, vampires, witches, demons, cats, ghosts, wear wolves, Frankenstein and Freddy Kruger.

5. For the path leading up to your house; make some pumpkin lanterns and place them on the floor or hang them in trees.

6. Replace all of your light bulbs with either red or green ones to add to the atmosphere, making it eerie. Also place plenty of candles around the room.

7. Get some models or figures of gargoyles, witches, ghosts, demons, vampires, mummies, cats and wear wolves to spread around your venue. Also get some body parts and fake blood to keep all of your guests on edge.

8. For your music, you could play; People are Strange, Monster Mash, Thriller, Beetlejuice, Wear wolves of London and Ghostbusters.

9. No Halloween theme party would be complete without sweets. Make sure you stock up with plenty of them!

10. Bake a cake and decorate with vampires or zombies. Get an edible licorice spider for the top. Also buy some monster shaped cookie cutters.
